Overview

CAT5419 は、2 つのデジタル POT を統合したもので、制御ロジックおよび 16 バイトの NVRAM メモリを備えています。別体の 6 ビット制御レジスタ (WCR) で各デジタル POT のワイパ・タップ位置を個別に制御します。各ワイパ制御レジスタと連携する 4 つの 6 ビット不揮発性メモリ・データ・レジスタ (DR) により、ワイパ設定が最大 4 つまで保存されます。ワイパ制御レジスタや不揮発性データ・レジスタへの書き込みは、2 線シリアル・バス (I²C のような) を介して行われます。電源投入時、2 つのポテンショメータそれぞれで、第 1 データ・レジスタ (DR0) の内容が、各ワイパ制御レジスタに自動でロードされます。書き込み保護 (WP) ピンはデータ・レジスタの偶発的なプログラミングを防ぎます。CCAT5419 は、ポテンショメータまたは 2 端子可変抵抗器として使用できます。幅広いアプリケーションの回路レベルまたはシステム・レベルでの調整を可能にします。

  • End-to-end resistance 2.5 kΩ, 10 kΩ, 50 kΩ or 100 kΩ
  • Potentiometer control and memory access via 2-wire interface (I²C like)
  • Low wiper resistance, typically 80 Ω
  • Four non-volatile wiper settings for each potentiometer
  • Recall of wiper settings at power up
  • 2.5 to 6.0 volt operation
  • Standby current less than 1 µA
  • 1,000,000 nonvolatile WRITE cycles
  • 100 year nonvolatile memory data retention
  • Write protection for data register
