Overview

CAT871、CAT872 は、ウォッチドッグ・タイマまたはその他のリセット・メカニズムが無効になったかまたは故障した場合に、マイクロプロセッサおよびマイクロコントローラ・ベースのシステムを再起動するように設計されたデュアル入力リセット・ジェネレータです。CAT871、CAT872 は 2 つの入力をモニタし、両方の入力が工場出荷時に事前設定された最小時間、アクティブ (ロジック LOW) になった後、アクティブ LOW リセット・パルスを出力します。リセット・パルス幅は、CAT871 では 2.2 ms、CAT872 では 70 ms です。最小タイムアウト期間が内部タイマをリセットする前にいずれかの入力をアクティブ状態から解放すると、タイマーが新しいカウントダウンで再起動する前に両方の入力がアクティブに戻る必要があります。CAT871、CAT872 のオープンドレイン出力は最大 3 mA の電流をシンクでき、他のオープンドレイン・デバイスとワイヤード OR 接続して、共通のリセット入力を駆動できます。
