HGTG12N60C3D は、MOSFET とバイポーラ・トランジスタの長所を組み合わせた MOS ゲート高電圧スイッチです。MOSFET の高入力インピーダンスとバイポーラ・トランジスタのオンステートでの低伝導損失です。オン抵抗電圧降下はさらに低減され、25°C ～ 150°C でなら、そのばらつきはほんのわずかです。使用されている IBGT は、開発型 TA49123 です。IGBT と逆並列のダイオードは、開発型 TA49061 です。この IGBT は、中程度の周波数で動作するため低伝導損失が不可欠な高電圧スイッチング・アプリケーションの多くに最適です。旧開発型 TA49117。
