FUSB308BVのターゲットは、USB-PD対応のUSB Type-Cポート・コントローラ（TCPC）を最大4個実装しようとしているシステム設計者です。 このソリューションはType-C Rev 1.3検出回路を内蔵しており、手動アタッチ/デタッチ検出が可能です。タイム・クリティカルな電源供給機能が自律的に処理され、µProcessorやType-Cポート・マネージャ（TCPM）の負担を軽減します。 FUSB308BVは、TCPMとの標準インターフェースのためのTCPCとして、USB-PDインターフェース仕様Rev 1.0に準拠しています。
