Overview

NCV7420 はフル機能のローカル相互接続ネットワーク (LIN) トランシーバで、LIN プロトコル・コントローラと物理バスとの間のインタフェース向けに設計されています。I3T テクノロジに実装され、高電圧アナログ回路とデジタル機能とが同じ 1 つのチップで共存できるようになっています。NCV7420 LIN デバイスは、オン・セミコンダクターの車載ネットワーキング (IVN) トランシーバ・ファミリのメンバで、LIN v2.0 物理トランシーバと 3.3 V か 5.0 V のとちらかの電圧レギュレータを統合したものです。LIN バスは、ドア・ロック/ミラー/カー・シート/サン・ルーフなど、制御デバイスから可能な限り最低コストで低レート・データを通信するよう設計されています。バスは可能な限り配線をなくすよう設計され、各ノードに単線を使用して実装されています。各ノードにスレーブ MCU ステート・マシンがあり、その機能特定の命令を認識してトランスレートします。LIN バス最大の魅力は、すべての機能はタイム・クリティカルではなく、通常は乗客快適性に関連する、ということです。

  • Load dump protection (45 V)
  • Bus pins protected against transients in an automotive environment
  • ESD protection level for LIN, INH, WAKE and Vbb up to ±8 kV
  • Output voltage 5.0 V / 50 mA or 3.3 V / 50 mA
  • Wakeup input
  • Enable inputs for standby and sleep mode
  • INH output for auxiliary purposes (switching of an external pullup or resistive divider towards battery,
    control of an external voltage regulator etc.)
  • Integrated slope control
