Overview

NCP1612 はアクティブな力率補正 (PFC) コントローラで、AC-DC アダプタ、薄型テレビ、照明バラストなどの中電力オフライン・アプリケーションでブースト・プレコンバータとして使用することに特化して設計されています。革新的な Current Controlled Frequency Foldback (CCFF) メソッドに基づいています。このモードでは、慣行として、インダクタ電流がプログラミング可能な値を超えた場合、電流臨界モード (CRM) で動作します。電流がこのプリセット・レベルを下回ると、NCP1612 は電流が null の場合に周波数を約 20 kHz までリニアに減少させます。CCFF では公称と軽負荷のいずれでも効率を最大化します。特に、スタンバイ損失が最小まで低減されます。一連の電源動作と故障状態を適切に処理する堅牢な保護機能スイートです。 専用の PFC_Okay 出力により、LLC コントローラの PFC ステージに特に適しています。
