NCP1422 は、モノリシック・マイクロパワー高周波ステップアップ・スイッチング・コンバータ IC で、最大 800mA 負荷のバッテリ駆動ハンドヘルド電気製品に特化して設計されています。効率を上げ、外部ショットキー・ダイオードを不要にする同期レクティファイヤを内蔵しています。高スイッチング周波数 (最大 1.2 MHz) により、ロープロファイルで小型のインダクタと出力キャパシタの使用が可能です。デバイスが無効化されると、LX または　BAT から OUT への内部伝導路が完全にブロックされ、OUT ピンがバッテリから絶縁されます。この True-Cutoff 機能によりシャットダウン電流を通常わずか 50nA に低減します。Ring-Killer も内蔵され、不連続モードでの高周波リンギングを除去します。上記に加え、低バッテリ検出器、ロジック制御シャットダウン、サイクル単位での電流制限およびサーマル・シャットダウンを備え、さまざまなバッテリ駆動アプリケーションに付加価値のある機能を提供します。これらすべての機能を ON にしても、静止電源電流は通常わずか 8.5 uA です。コンパクトでロープロファイルの DFN10 パッケージで提供されます。
