Overview

CAT4103 は、RGB LED 制御向けに設計された 3 チャネルでリニアベースの定電流 LED ドライバであり、インダクタが不要で、低ノイズ動作を実現します。LED チャネル電流は最大 175 mA まで、個別の外部抵抗器によって、それぞれ独立してプログラミングできます。0.4 V (175 mA 時) の低出力電圧動作により、より広範な電源電圧範囲にわたって、さらなる省電力設計が可能です。3 つの LED ピンは最大 25 V の高電圧対応であり、ロング・ストリング LED のアプリケーションをサポートします。 高速 4 線式 25 MHz シリアル・インタフェースで、シフト・レジスタとラッチ構成を使用して、チャネルを個別に制御します。出力データ・ピンにより、複数のデバイスをシリアル・インタフェース 1 つでカスケーディング／プログラミングできるので、外部ドライバもタイミングを考慮することも必要なくなります。インタフェースのチャネルをすべて独立で無効化するのに使用できるブランキング制御ピン (BIN) もあります。 ダイの温度が 150°C を超えると LED 出力を無効化するサーマル・シャットダウン保護が組み込まれています。
