この低ドロップアウト (LDO) リニア電圧レギュレータは、ユーザ調整可能な出力範囲 1.25 V ～ 5.0 V、または固定出力電圧 1.5 V、3.3 V、または 5.0 V に対して最大 500 mA を提供します。一般に、出力電圧精度は 3% より良好です。内蔵の PNP パス・トランジスタが、最大負荷電流時に、最小の入力電圧での低ドロップアウト電圧と動作を可能にします。NCV バージョンは、広い温度範囲での動作、場所や変化に応じた制御を必要とする要求の厳しい車載アプリケーションに対応する能力を持ちます。NCP5500 および NCV5500 バージョンは、イネーブル/シャットダウン機能を搭載し、DPAK 5 および SOIC 8 パッケージで提供されます。ロジカル・オン/オフ・コントロールを必要としないアプリケーション向けには、NCP5501 および NCV5501 バージョンは、DPAK 3 で提供されます。このレギュレータ・ファミリは、広い入力電圧範囲と、低コストのセラミック・キャパシタを使用した最大 500 mA の負荷の低ドロップアウト性能を必要とするアプリケーションに最適です。内蔵保護機能として、短絡回路電流とサーマル・シャットダウンを備えています。
