TLV431シリーズは高精度低電圧シャント・レギュレータで、1.24V～16Vの広範な電圧範囲でプログラム可能です。 TLV431Aシリーズは、リファレンス精度が25 °C時で1.0%、-40 °C～85 °Cの産業用温度範囲全体で2.0%が保証されているのが特長です。 TLV431Bシリーズの精度は、それぞれ0.5%と1.0%です。 TLV431Cシリーズの精度は、それぞれ0.2%と0.5%です。 低電流ターンオン特性がシャープで、動的インピーダンスが0.20 Wと低い中で動作電流範囲は100mA～20mAです。 このような機能の組み合わせにより、高精度のリファレンス電圧を必要とする多くのアプリケーション回路で、ツェナー・ダイオードの優れた代替となります。 オプトカプラと組み合わせると、TLV431はエラー・アンプとして使用でき、絶縁された低出力電圧（3.0V～3.3V）スイッチング電源でフィードバック・ループを制御します。経済的なTO-92、マイクロ・サイズの TSOP-5、およびSOT23-3パッケージで提供されます。
