MC33201/2/4 ファミリのオペアンプは、入力と出力のいずれでもレール・ツー・レール動作をします。入力は200mVの高さにまで駆動でき、出力で電源レールを越えても位相反転がなく、レールごとの出力振幅は50 mV以内です。こうしたレール・ツー・レール動作により、電源電圧範囲をフルに活用できます。超低電源電圧 (+/- 0.9 V) で動作するよう設計されていますが、最大 +12V およびグランドの電源で動作できます。出力電流ブースト技術で高出力電流が可能になる一方でアンプのドレイン電流は最小に保たれます。また、ノイズと歪みが低くスルー・レートとドライブが高いという能力の組み合わせにより、オーディオ・アプリケーションに最適なアンプとなります。
