Overview

CAT5111 は、機械式ポテンショメータの電子的な代替品として設計された単一のデジタル POT です。大量生産ラインでの自動調整に最適ですし、アクセスしにくい、または危険な環境や遠隔環境に配置されていて周期的な調整が求められる機器などへのアプリケーションにも最適です。CAT5111 には 2 つの終端 RH および RL 間に接続された 100 タップ・シリーズ抵抗アレイが含まれます。3 つの入力ピンで制御されているアップ/ダウン・カウンタおよびデコーダはワイパー RWB に接続するタップを決定します。CAT5111 ワイパーはレール・ツー・レールを操作するオペアンプによりバッファされます。不揮発性メモリに格納されたワイパー設定は、デバイスの電源が切られても失われず、電源が回復すると自動的にリコールされます。ワイパーは格納された設定に影響を与えることなく新しいシステム値をテストするために調整できます。CAT5111 のワイパー制御は 3 つの入力制御ピン CS、U/D、および INC で行われます。INC 入力は U/D 入力のロジック状態で決定される方向にワイパーをインクリメントします。CS 入力はデバイスを選択するために使用され、電源を切る前にワイパー位置も記憶します。デジタル・ポテンショメータはバッファされた電圧ディバイダとして使用できます。ポテンショメータが 2 端子可変抵抗として使用されるアプリケーションについては、CAT5113 を参照してください。CAT5111 のバッファされたワイパーはそのようなアプリケーションに適合していません。
