Overview

CAT5112 は、機械式ポテンショメータの電子的代替品として設計された、シングル・デジタル POT です。大量生産ラインでの自動調整に最適ですし、アクセスしにくい、または危険な環境や遠隔環境に配置されていて周期的な調整が求められる機器などへのアプリケーションにも最適です。CAT5112 には 2 つの終端 RH および RL 間に接続された 32 タップ・シリーズ抵抗器アレイが含まれます。3 つの入力ピンで制御されているアップ/ダウン・カウンタおよびデコーダはワイパ RWB に接続するタップを決定します。CAT5112 ワイパはレール・ツー・レールを操作するオペアンプによりバッファされます。不揮発性メモリに格納されたワイパ設定は、デバイスの電源が切られても失われず、電源が回復すると自動的にリコールされます。ワイパは格納された設定に影響を与えることなく新しいシステム値をテストするために調整できます。CAT5112 のワイパ制御は 3 つの入力制御ピン CS、U/D、および INC で行われます。INC 入力は U/D 入力のロジック状態で決定される方向にワイパをインクリメントします。CS 入力はデバイスを選択するために使用され、電源を切る前にワイパ位置も格納します。デジタル POT はバッファされた電圧ディバイダとして使用できます。ポテンショメータが 2 端子可変抵抗器として使用されるアプリケーションについては、CAT5114. を参照してください。CAT5112 のバッファされたワイパはそのようなアプリケーションに適合していません。
