Overview

PCA9654E は、I2C バス/ SMBus アプリケーション用に 8 ビットの汎用パラレル入出力 (GPIO) 拡張を提供します。PCA9654E は、8 ビット構成 (入力または出力選択)、入力、出力、および極性反転 (アクティブ HIGH またはアクティブ LOW 動作) レジスタで構成されます。システム・マスタ、I/O 構成ビットに書き込むことにより、I/O を入力または出力として設定できます。各入力または出力のデータは、対応する入力または出力レジスタに保存されます。読み出しレジスタの極性は、極性反転レジスタで反転できます。システム・マスタはすべてのレジスタを読み取ることができます。PCA9654E オープンドレイン割り込み (INTb) 出力は、入力状態が、対応する入力ポート・レジスタの状態と異なる場合にアクティブになり、入力状態が変更されたことをシステム・マスタに示すために使用されます。パワーオン・リセットは、レジスタをデフォルト値に設定し、デバイス・ステート・マシンを初期化します。3 つのハードウェア・ピン (AD0、AD1、AD2) は固定 I2C バス・アドレスを変更し、最大 64 個のデバイスが同じ I2C バス/SMBus を共有できるようにします。
