Overview

74AC14および74ACT14は、シュミットトリガ入力の6つのインバータ・ゲートを搭載しています。これらは、なだらかに変化する入力信号を、境界のはっきりした鮮明なジッタ―フリー出力信号に変換できます。さらに、従来のインバータよりもノイズマージンが大きくなっています。74AC14および74ACT14は、正方向と負方向の入力しきい値（標準 1.0V）の間にヒステリシスがあります。これは、トランジスタ比により内部で決定され、温度と電源電圧の変動にほとんど影響を受けません。
