onsemi has been a market leader in automotive image sensors for the past two decades. The challenges of low light performance and dynamic range have been the driving force to deliver better solutions with smaller pixel size sensors, from 4.2 µm to the latest 2.1 µm. The high dynamic range (HDR) LED flicker mitigation (LFM) super exposure(SE) technology addresses the ever-increasing use of flickering LEDs. With onsemi latest 8 MP 2.1 µm pixel sensor, it can achieve ten times better HDR LFM capabilities than the previous generation and up to 155 dB dynamic range. This webinar will cover the pixel fundamentals and performance in the most challenging low light and high-temperature conditions.

Sergey Velichko has been responsible for technology and product development for the Automotive Sensing Division at onsemi since 2006. He worked before in various teaching and R&D positions at the KPI, Micron Technology, and HP. A Senior IEEE Member, he authored and co-authored more than 50 publications and 45 issued and pending patents. His interests include intelligent sensor technology and strategic product development, novel imaging pixel architectures, pixel modeling, and innovations in imaging sensor designs.
