Our Global Talent Pipeline

Expanding our global talent pipeline is critical to keeping our organization well-positioned to handle the changing demands of our industry. We foster an environment of belonging where everyone can thrive and succeed.     We engage with multiple organizations to attract a highly qualified workforce. Some of our partners include:

    • Strategic partner schools in the United States to provide opportunities for internships and employment.
    • Embedded partnerships with local universities in Europe that enable us to consult on curriculum to better prepare graduates for the semiconductor industry.
    • Alumni connections in Asia allow us to pair current onsemi employees with their alma mater to organize pre-placement talk and showcase our technology to attract top talent from engineering programs.

WE, established in 2014, focuses on empowering and supporting women to succeed through professional development in business, strategic and financial acumen.

Cultivate, established in 2018, works to unite a group of diverse generations who are committed to engaging the workforce and enhancing our collaborative company culture. This group is devoted to understanding all generations in the workplace and connecting the company with the evolving employee community.

BEN, established in 2019, fosters an environment that is conducive to the recruitment, retention and career advancement of Black employees. This group is committed to promoting the company brand and emerging market penetration in the Black community.

Continua, established in 2020, works to cultivate an inclusive workplace where all employees are free and encouraged to be themselves. This group advocates for those who are - and who support - LGBTQ+ people in our company, in our families and in our communities.

VME, established in 2020, helps recruit veterans and military members, provides transitional assistance into the civilian workforce, develops and retains these employees and increases networking through community outreach.

STEM UP, established in 2015, strives to develop and retain a diverse workforce, which will positively impact our company's innovation and performance. This group’s programs are focused on retaining employees and developing new talent in the local area for the underrepresented population.

onsemi continues to be recognized throughout the industry for measuring success and has received the following recognition.

In February 2025, onsemi ranked #37 (up from #77 in 2024) on Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies. Barron’s looks at the 1,000 largest companies by market value and assesses performance across over 230 ESG indicators.​

In September 2025, onsemi received an overall ESG risk rating score of 19.9/100 points (“Low Risk”). Lower scores from Sustainalytics indicate a smaller risk potential. The rating demonstrates our ability to manage risks across 20 different ESG issues.

Silver Level Recognition: In February 2026, onsemi received a score of 78/100 from EcoVadis, a leading platform for assessing a company’s environmental, social and ethics management systems. Overall, our company scored in the 94th percentile of the 2,180 companies assessed by EcoVadis within the “manufacture of electronics components and boards” industry.

Seven Consecutive Years: In 2026, onsemi ranked #227 on Newsweek’s America’s Most responsible Companies out of 600 U.S.-based companies and #39 within the technology industry.

In October 2025, onsemi maintained its ESG “A” rating from MSCI, marking seven consecutive years. Our robust business ethics practices and strong efforts to manage water withdrawal and mineral sourcing contribute to our overall resilience to long-terms ESG risks.​

Our facilities in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, U.S. and Tarlac, Philippines both received a perfect score of 200 on their RBA VAP recognized with platinum certificates of recognition.

Six Consecutive Years, In November 2025, onsemi maintained a “Prime” rating by ISS ESG outperforming the industry average scoring in all key issues. ISS ESG is one of the world’s leading rating agencies for sustainable investments. This status is granted to industry leaders who perform well against universal and industry-specific ESG topics.
