AR0235

The AR0235 Hyperlux™ SG is a 2.3 MP global shutter CMOS image sensor featuring a 1/2.8-inch optical format and 1920 × 1200 resolution at up to 120 fps. Its 2.8 μm pixel architecture delivers excellent low-light performance and accurate capture of fast-moving scenes, while the global shutter design eliminates motion distortion. The sensor is well suited for machine vision, robotics, industrial automation, barcode scanning, intelligent transportation, and embedded vision applications.

Cost-effective Power Delivery Design for AR0235 Image Sensor

The AR0235 Hyperlux™ SG image sensor requires dedicated analog, digital core, and I/O supply rails. For 5 V input systems, the power tree uses NCP161, NCP114, T30LMPSR165, and NCP163 low-noise regulators to generate the required voltage domains. For 5 V to 18 V power-over-coax applications, the highly integrated NCV92310 PMIC provides power conversion and sequencing in a single device, simplifying remote camera designs. In 48 V industrial systems, a FAN65004C 6 A buck regulator generates an intermediate supply rail that feeds the downstream regulators. Additional configurations support integration with the AP1302 ISP for local or remote image processing. MCU-controlled sequencing ensures proper power-up and power-down timing, while the combination of efficient power conversion and ultra-low-noise regulation maximizes image quality, global shutter performance, and system reliability.
