Body electronics are an electronic network of systems integrated into the vehicle that performs certain functions. Modern vehicles now contain a variety of subsystems that perform control functions, instrument diagnosis, and safety functions. These subsystems include mirror, windows, lighting, seat, door, keyless, security, IVI, telematics and vehicle access systems.

Advanced LED front lighting is paving the way for increased user functionality and safety by implementing matrix and beam forming technologies. Branding and styling options, as well as reliability boundaries are pushing into new frontiers for automotive exterior lighting. LED and power solutions are used in rear combination lamps (RCL), center high mount stop light (CHMSL) and for exterior lighting accents.

Linear and DC-DC LED drivers, power management, analog signal chain products, in-vehicle networking (IVN), MOSFETs and standard logic are provided with AEC qualification from onsemi to help automotive customers complete designs with minimal effort and uncomplicated execution.
